TRUST INTRODUCTION
In the Heart of Central India, lies the district of Singrauli. Although blessed with lush forests and possessing rich reserves of coal and minerals , this region is home to some of India’s Poorest of poor- the Adivasi – or the original inhabitant of the Region.
Unfortunately, all the mining industry investments flowing into the region seem to by pass them – and they are left to wallow in conditions of extreme poor health , in remote areas of the region.
It is here that the trust is at work – trying to make a difference and you too can help.

Our Activities
The Trust began its work on 22nd November 2009 and till date we are carrying on the prevention, cure & eradication of Malaria with a committed team of nurses, doctors and senior health workers. We also have a skill development program of tailoring for young girls since 2014. We have diversified into health care & nutrition for malnourished children & mothers. This has been possible with the help and support of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and our local donor partners.

Join hands to bring progress and prosperity to the underprivileged – we are looking for donation/sponsorship to invest in additional ambulances, doctors & human resources. Your contribution can help in providing medicines/nutritional supplements. Our dream is to have permanent clinics & health care centers in the near future so that the poor have access to a safe & healthy environment. Your generous participation would also assist in building a vocational training school for the youth, to reinstate them into the main stream of national growth & development.
MOBILE HEALTHCARE
The Malaise of Malaria – Affects 75% of Population to combat the bane of malaria —widespread in the region —the trust has adopted a two – fold strategy : health camps and mobile vans.
Health Camps Prevention Health Camps are held frequently, on predetermined dates, in different villages. The local people are mobilized and in fact directly involved in spreading the word about the disease and prevention & cure in these camps. Tests are done and medicines are given totally free of cost. To penetrate deeper into the remotest corners of the region, the trust runs mobile health care van (with a retired consulting doctor a Senior health worker) which reaches the doorsteps of the poorest of poor in the remotest of remote areas — where health services and infrastructure are otherwise dismal. Research is being undertaken about the health care needs of the region, in association with the our consultant doctor who has served the community for more than four decades as is currently also the joint secretary of the trust since it’s inception.
Maternity & Childcare
Ensuring the Well being of mothers & new born Health camps are also organised to focus on pregnant women and new born babies. The mothers-to-be are given iron tablets (folic acid) along with appropriate advice on nutrition and diet for themselves and their children. Sometimes Ayurvedic tonics are provided as additional nutritive support. Awareness is spread about pre and post natal care through the village networks and positive shifts of behavior and habit are encouraged.
